This redesigned tube can be used to measure the turbidity of shallow or flowing bodies of water where a Secchi disk cannot. A single operator controls the water-level discharge from the tube by gently pushing it against the ground to activate the stop plunger when the 45-mm Secchi-disk design is visible. This action immediately stops the flow of water so you can accurately and efficiently measure the water's transparency.

Use this clear, redesigned tube to accurately measure the turbidity of shallow or flowing bodies of water where a Secchi disk can't be used. A single operator controls the water-level discharge from the tube by gently pushing it against the ground to activate the stop plunger when the 45-mm Secchi-disk design is visible. This action immediately stops the flow of water to accurately and efficiently measure the water's transparency. This unique tube features a side scale with centimeter and Nephelometric Turbidity Unit (NTU) markings. We offer 120-cm (standard) and 60-cm (small) lengths. NTU scale markings: 120-cm tube, 0 to 122; 60-cm tube, 0 to 60.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbidity Tube - easy to use This makes my water testing session so much easier and accurate. I love the way the tube drains from the bottom when the plunger is pressed so that one person can operate it. The other tubes I have seen had a tube to drain it and it almost takes two people to use them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not terribly durable The plastic Sechi disk came unglued after a week of use.
