Go Deeper Into Physiological Study with Sheep Brains Sheep brains are the perfect specimen to study mammalian brain structure. A sheep brain is similar to a human brain and the structures are easily identified. Standard formalin sheep brains with intact dura mater, hypophysis, and cranial nerve roots are shipped in Carosafe(r), Carolina's proprietary shipping and holding fluid. Carosafe(r) is an odorless fluid designed to minimize the unpleasant odor of formaldehyde. Individually damp-packed in vacuum-sealed bags. Plain: No color injection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product. We've been using these sheep brains for years. These have worked well and showed the anatomical features the students need to see at a decent price. The only downside is an occasional mangled brain which looks to be because of the vacuum bagging process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy. I've been using this product for years. The single pack is useful because I only open the number of packs that I need and don't risk the rest of the brains. The brains can be soft and mushy if not packed properly.
